We have now arrived back in KL after out trip to Tasik Chini. During the trip, we took a short walk to the chief of the village and then played football with some local boys. The accommodation was very basic with a variety of wildlife sharing the room.
On day two we got up early to start our day of activities. First, we went to the local school and then into the rainforest to go on our trek. Everyone surprised by just how hot it is in the rainforest. Ben M won the tree climbing contest and we were taught how to set a trap for chickens. We were expecting a slow boat ride back but instead went by motor boat through the rainforest at times very fast. This has probably been the highlight so far. Max and Ollie P spent most of the time splashing themselves and reenacting scenes from titanic.
Next onto our blow dart competition where both Max and Spencer hit the target. All the boys seemed to enjoy this and as a short warning there are 9 boys coming home with blow pipes. Back at camp we had a fish dinner and on to our presentation of the Macarena to the locals.
Glad to see you are having a great time. Hope to see lots of photos. Very warm here as well but not as hot as where you guys are !
